I have a regular Friday working lunch always at Skipper's Pier. Sue is our go-to server, efficient, friendly, and a master of when to stop and check in on us. I love the regular menu but also the seasonal offerings. Hurrah for Skipper's and Sue

We went to Skippers last night for Valentines dinner. It was amazing! We had a few of the special Valentine's cocktails before dinner and they were excellent. The bartender Kristy makes awesome cocktails and serves with a smile! We had the shrimp prosciutto and oysters chesapeake to start, followed by the brie salad and lobster bisque. It was all amazing! The salad was so good, with a beautiful poppy seed dressing. We had the orange butter scallops, with potatoes and a cauliflower beet purée which was absolutely delicious! My husband had the filet and crab cake. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the crab cake was excellent, almost no filler. But dessert.... wow! We tried the Tres leches chocolate cake and the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. AMAZING!!!! Best desserts that I have ever had out in restaurant. This is the second "special event" I have attended at Skippers recently. I went for the Wreath making evening in December and had an amazing experience with my girlfriend. It is great to have a restaurant down here in Deale that offers these special nights out as well as consistently great food for a lovely dinner any night of the week. Skippers is not just for crabs! It is locally owned by a young couple who couldn't be any nicer and very much care about providing quality food and service. Stay in Deale, you won't find a better restaurant anywhere else!

We had a fantastic time. Our reservation was for early afternoon. Wanted to be there before it got crowded. It was a perfect time for us to be there. Dave stopped for a few minutes to talk to us. He's very personable with all even when he's busy. Our waitress was very nice. Took a picture of us. The food was fantastic!! So tasty. We were there the last couple years on Valentine's Day. Always great there, why we went back again this year. - Joyce&Stinky

This place has potential to be great.. I'll start there! Food is great when made correctly. My first visit (August), I'd give 2.5 stars. Zach was our server and was great! From the pictures, you can see all that was ordered. I loved the crab dip with the pretzel bread and the crab crusted oysters. I also ordered the dynamic duo which to my disappointment came out cold. It wasn't even lukewarm. The whiskey sirloin was cool too. The grapefruit crush was yummy. Just has a lot of pulp. My second visit was much better in October. I ended up getting the rockfish which was delicious! My soup was piping out. And the raw oysters were fresh. Cozy vibe in there and they also have outdoor seating for nice days.

July13, 2024 Won't forget this day, wife and I were sitting at the bar and Trump was holding a rally, we had just ordered 2 of the Mrs. Maryland sandwiches and everyone in the bar was watching the TVs. Trump turned his head and then we saw him wipe his ear and next he was tackled. The sandwiches are excellent you get a crab cake and shrimp salad who would have ever thought to put these two together, oh Skippers did and it's good. Maybe they could try a soft crab with lobster salad? Don't want to get to excited can't wait to return to have this again.

This is a great location for a full afternoon of dinner and a tiki cruise right at that pier. We had good service great food. The orders were MRS MARYLAND CLUB Shrimp Salad / Skipper's Crab Cake / Mixed Greens / Tomato / Smoky Bacon / Remoulade / Toasted Sourdough / 18 . It was huge and delicious. Another dish was TUNA TSUNAMI Blackened Tuna / Cilantro Rice / Seaweed Salad / Pineapple Coconut Slaw / Skip's Spicy / Chili Carlic Sauce / 17. One of the best I've had. Then there was CHICKEN N' GRAVY Hand Dipped Buttermilk Chicken Breast / Southern White Gravy / Garlic Smashed Potatoes / Chef's Vegetable / 21. It was a very impressive plate. The cocktails do not pack a punch. Most couldn't taste any alcohol which was a disappointment, but I did order an extra shot in the side for the drink. Overall skippers is delicious. We heard the desserts are fabulous, but we were too full to even try and we were catching the tiki cruise that was down by the pier it's a great day spent when you do both. 4 starts because if the drinks.

Found them on IG and it was well worth the hike. It was a beautiful sunny day so needless to say it was packed. We skipped the wait but eating at the bar which is a genius idea as it was closer to the water. This restaurant is located on the water and the food was perfect. Bring a candle to keep the flies away but I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

1st I have to give our server Hunter all the praise! He was fantastic! We had a reservation for 10, 14 showed up. We were celebrating a birthday and Hunter did not miss a beat! Drinks were timely and flowing, food came out correctly despite the comings and goings/seat changes of us girls. View is gorgeous, restaurant is so cute. I love the number of bathrooms on each side. Food was delicious. Crab cakes and crab dip were YUM! Fried pickles, so good. My friend had the nachos and shared. The entire table loved them. Overall, great dining experience!
